Maggie Thomas is a senior associate in King & Spalding’s Washington, D.C. office and a member of the firm’s Special Matters and Investigations practice.
Maggie’s practice focuses on white-collar criminal defense, government and corporate internal investigations, and False Claims Act and whistleblower litigation. Her experience includes defending individuals and companies in investigations by the Department of Justice, the Securities and Exchange Commission, U.S. Attorney’s Offices, and States Attorneys General Offices.
Prior to joining King & Spalding, Maggie served as law clerk to the Honorable Charles Peters of the Circuit Court for Baltimore City. Maggie graduated cum laude from the University of Maryland School of Law, where she was a member of the Moot Court Board and an Articles Editor for the Journal of Race, Religion, Gender and Class. She received her undergraduate degree from Middlebury College.
