Leon Stewart is a senior attorney in King & Spalding's Mass Tort and Toxic Tort practice and a senior member of the Discovery Center, King & Spalding’s solution for providing cost-effective and centralized discovery services.

Leon focuses on electronic discovery issues, particularly with respect to the representation of consumer product and pharmaceutical clients. 

Leon is experienced in supervising and training attorney review teams and collecting, reviewing and producing documents. Through his involvement in these projects, he has gained experience with coordinating and supervising the selection of vendors.

In addition, Leon has experience in creating project plans and developing protocols for objective coding. He has extensive knowledge and experience with document review and litigation support systems, including Applied Discovery’s Online Review Application (ORA), RingTail, IConect, Clarvergence, Discovery Radar, Concordance, IPro and Microsoft Access.

Developing and managing a searchable database of written discovery responses and objections reflecting hundreds of common requests served on a Fortune 50 consumer product client involved in multi-jurisdictional litigation for over 50 years. This system enabled the cost-efficient preparation of consistent and accurate discovery responses and disclosures to more than several thousand discovery requests. 

Supervising as many as 14 attorneys in preparing initial disclosures and responses to interrogatories, document requests and requests for admission for over 300 cases and over 3,000 sets of responses during a five-year period for a Fortune 50 consumer product client involved in multi-jurisdictional litigation.

Supervising 10 attorneys in connection with the review of more than 65,000 documents (more than 300,000 images) within 2 months. Documents were reviewed for confidentiality, privilege, significance and responsiveness. More than 170,000 pages were produced in connection with this review. The client and its subsidiaries were involved in a multidistrict consolidated class action antitrust lawsuit concerning allegations of anti-competitive conduct under State and Federal laws in the insurance industry.

Supervising 3 attorneys in connection with the review of approximately 4,000 documents and the preparation of a privilege logs for a client in a breach of contract action.
