Lee is a partner in the Corporate, Finance and Investments Group in Singapore and Head of the M&A and Private Equity Practice in Asia. Lee handles domestic and cross-border public and private M&A and private equity transactions. Lee has over 20 years of M&A experience in London and south east Asia and is both English and Singapore law qualified.

Lee regularly advises many of the leading corporates, private equity houses, hedge funds and sovereign wealth funds across Asia Pacific and further afield on their most complex M&A transactions in the region. Lee is consistently recognized by leading legal directories as one of the leading M&A and private equity lawyers in Asia. Chambers Global describes him as “an expert on private equity transactions who is praised by clients for his ‘very strong credentials in the region’ and the commitment he shows on transactions”. Chambers Asia Pacific 2018 commends Lee for being “a highly valued lawyer” with a “keen eye for important details”.

Prior to joining King & Spalding in January 2018, Lee headed the Singapore M&A group and South East Asia Private Equity practice of one of the UK’s “Magic Circle” law firms.
