Kate Stein is an associate in the Trial and Global Disputes practice in the firm’s Austin office. She received her J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law where she completed the two-year accelerated J.D. program and the Bartlit Center trial advocacy program and was elected Senior Articles Editor for the Northwestern Journal of Law and Social Policy. Prior to joining King & Spalding, Kate served as a law clerk for the Office of the Attorney General of Texas. Her practice focuses on class action defense and other complex commercial litigation, and she has experience in FCRA matters, toxic tort litigation, construction disputes, landlord/tenant disputes, and financial litigation.
