Julia Bredrup is a complex commercial litigator and trial generalist who efficiently delivers results across a variety of civil and criminal practice areas. She brings her strategic insights and breadth of legal knowledge to bear in representing emerging and established companies in all stages of litigation, from pre-complaint advising through jury trials and arbitrations. Her civil litigation experience includes employment and partnership disputes, class action defense, securities violations, malpractice and professional liability, healthcare, trust and estates, entertainment, and intellectual property matters. To ensure her clients have the resources necessary to defend themselves, Julia also has experience counseling clients on insurance matters and litigating to obtain coverage from reluctant carriers. On the criminal side, Julia has managed investigations and resolved a wide range of charged cases for both entities and individuals. She is equally adept at pre-indictment negotiations as she is at litigation through trial and sentencing. Whatever the case, Julia remains laser focused on understanding her client’s objectives and obtaining excellent outcomes tailored to the situation at hand.
Julia is actively involved in the Los Angeles legal and public service community. She is a member of the board of the Friends of the Los Angeles County Law Library and served multiple terms on the union board of the American Civil Liberties Union of Southern California, including a term on its Executive Committee and as a liaison to a next generation affinity group.
