Joey Polonsky is an associate in King & Spalding’s Charlotte office. Joey maintains an active practice in King & Spalding’s leveraged lending and syndicated finance practices.  He also has significant experience representing and advising private equity firms, financial advisors and strategic companies in acquisitions and divestitures and joint ventures.

Joey received his law degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he graduated with high honors and was inducted into the Order of the Coif.  While at UNC Law, he was an Articles Editor for the North Carolina Law Review and he was awarded the Gressman-Pollitt Award for Oral Advocacy as Best Appellee in his section.  He served for three years on the UNC Law Pro Bono Board, and was one of eight members of his class inducted into the James E. and Carolyn B. Davis Society
