Jill Keller Hengen concentrates her practice on high-stakes government and internal investigations, both domestic and global. She also counsels clients on anticorruption and regulatory compliance matters, advises companies on complex regulatory, legal and policy issues, and represents corporate entities and individuals in congressional, white collar and civil enforcement matters. Jill also has expertise in matters requiring crisis management and government relations experience.
Jill’s investigative experience includes criminal and civil issues relating to pharmaceuticals; biotechnology and medical devices, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act Matters, accounting-related fraud, and problematic conduct by public company officers related to gender and race.
Jill has an extensive background in government affairs, in which she represented corporations, foreign governments and nongovernmental organizations before the legislative and executive branches and in congressional investigations. This experience enables Jill to take a multifaceted approach to investigations that spans the legal and policy arenas on diverse issues. She is equipped to see the broader political implications a client faces while under investigation, and is able to develop and implement strategies that take the potential political and media attention associated with investigations into account.
