People

Jenna Stern Ross is an associate with the Special Matters and Investigations practice in King & Spalding’s Washington, D.C. office. Jenna’s practice focuses on representing individuals and entities in the areas of government and corporate internal investigations, white collar criminal defense and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. She has worked on matters involving public company investigations in front of the Department of Justice, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

Jenna volunteers and is Junior Board Chair for the D.C. Volunteer Lawyers Project (DCVLP), an organization whose mission is to provide high-quality, free legal services to low-income D.C. residents in family law cases. Jenna provides pro bono legal representation in protection order, custody, divorce and guardian ad litem work for survivors of domestic violence and at-risk children.

Prior to joining King & Spalding, Jenna was a law clerk at the DOJ, Criminal Division, in the Fraud Section’s FCPA Unit. There she assisted in the prosecution and investigation of numerous individuals and entities for anti-corruption violations and participated in the development of compliance and monitorship policy.

Jenna previously was a Visiting Fellow at the Stimson Center, a nonpartisan think tank devoted to enhancing international peace and security. At the Stimson Center, she authored numerous reports suggesting how the international community can best restore rule of law and prevent violence against civilians in conflict-affected areas. Finally, Jenna has clerked for the U.S. State Department’s legal office and the United Nations.

Jenna graduated from Vanderbilt Law School where she won the first year Legal Writing Award for best brief, worked extensively on United Nations legal issues and completed research for the Foreign Immunity American Journal of International Law. Jenna is a member of the New York state bar.
