Hugo Shaw is an associate in King & Spalding’s International Arbitration and Construction Disputes practice groups, based in London. Hugo's practice centres on international disputes arising from major projects in the oil and gas, infrastructure and energy sectors.
Hugo has experience advising both owners and contractors in a wide range of disputes, including in respect of gas processing and mining facilities, pipelines, chemical plants, windfarms and tunnels in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia and Australia. He primarily represents clients in international arbitration proceedings, however also has experience in litigation, adjudication and mediation. Hugo specializes in complex claims relating to delay, disruption and contract termination.
Hugo also advises throughout the delivery phase of major projects.
