Heleina Formoso is a senior associate in the Houston office of King & Spalding and a member of the firm’s Trial and Global Disputes practice. Heleina primarily defends clients in a broad spectrum of complex litigation matters including medical device, pharmaceutical, toxic tort, and other product liability and tort matters. Heleina has been recognized as a Texas Rising Star by Texas SuperLawyers from 2014 to 2019.
In addition to her extensive experience in products liability litigation, Heleina has extensive experience in representing Philippine clients in international arbitration matters.
Heleina has significant case management, factual investigation and trial experience. She works closely and extensively with experts and fact witnesses to evaluate and develop cases.
Prior to joining King & Spalding, Heleina obtained her J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center, where she was a Senior Articles Editor on the Houston Journal of International Law and a member of the school’s Vis International Moot Court team. She graduated from the California State University, Fresno with an Economics degree.
