George Morris is Counsel in King & Spalding’s Trial and Global Disputes Practice.  He concentrates on complex business litigation, with an emphasis in commercial contract disputes, as well as technology and life sciences licensing disputes.

Over the past 15 years, George has advised and litigated on behalf of Fortune 100 and 500 companies, private equity firms, investment banks, and healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotechnology and technology companies in a wide range of matters including large commercial contract and licensing disputes, civil and criminal securities litigation actions, merger litigations, antitrust matters, SEC and Department of Justice investigations, and data breach litigation. George has also counseled and advised clients on regulatory, compliance and corporate governance issues.

George has also provided pro bono representation for clients in Section 1983 civil rights actions in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and in federal district court, and he has drafted several Amicus briefs to the Supreme Court of the United States, the California Supreme Court and the New York State Court of Appeals.

Prior to joining King & Spalding, George was a litigation associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP in New York and Palo Alto.
