Fred N. David is counsel in the Leveraged Finance practice group specializing in private credit and special situations investing.

Fred represents both lenders and borrowers, including private credit funds, private equity sponsors, institutional investors and public and private issuers, with an emphasis on acquisition financings and highly leveraged financings.  He has experience representing clients in connection with leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, unitranche facilities, asset-based loan facilities, subordinated, mezzanine and first lien/second lien transactions, syndicated credit facilities, capital lease facilities, bridge facilities, high-yield and investment grade note offerings, receivables securitizations and restructurings, ranging in size from a few million dollars to billions of dollars, across a broad range of industries, including construction, retail, telecommunications, aerospace, defense and manufacturing.
