People

Emma is an associate in King & Spalding's New York office and a member of the International Arbitration practice group. Her global practice focuses on high-stakes international investment and commercial arbitration and award enforcement, with a particular emphasis on disputes arising in Europe and elsewhere under the Energy Charter Treaty.

Emma graduated from NYU Law in 2020 and from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service in 2016. She has lived and worked previously in France, the People's Republic of China, and the Netherlands and she is bilingual in English and French. Emma also maintains a moderate level of fluency in written and spoken Mandarin Chinese and Italian. 

At NYU Law, Emma was Commentary Editor of the NYU Journal of International Law & Politics and a fellow at the US-Asia Law Institute. She also participated in the 2018 FDI Moot and the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in 2020, where she was a quarterfinalist. Prior to joining King & Spalding, Emma worked as a legal intern both at P.R.I.M.E. Finance Foundation in The Hague and at the Permanent Mission of Antigua & Barbuda to the United Nations, where she focused respectively on arbitration involving complex financial transactions and international environmental law and human rights.
