Eduardo Bruera focuses on a range of litigation matters. Since joining the firm, Eduardo has served as a key brief writer on a range of disputes ranging from class action litigations to constitutional challenges.  He also has extensive experience in arbitration, where he has served as the lead associate on high-value arbitrations across a range of industries, including mining, energy, transportation, and construction.  Eduardo has presented argument and examined witnesses in the federal courts and before arbitral panels.

Prior to joining the firm, Eduardo served as a federal prosecutor in Alexandria, Virginia, where he prosecuted felonies ranging from sex trafficking to identity theft. Before that, he was a Senior Advisor to the General Counsel of the Treasury Department where he was responsible for providing legal advice on a range of statutory and constitutional issues to the senior leadership of the Department. He began his career at a litigation boutique in Washington, D.C., where he briefed cases at every level of the federal court system and represented individuals facing criminal investigations.


Eduardo clerked on the United States Supreme Court for Justices Stevens and Sotomayor and on the Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit for Judge King. He is a graduate of Cornell Law School and holds a Master’s and Ph.D. in Political Science from Stanford University. He is fluent in both English and Spanish.
