Derek Marks is an associate in King & Spalding’s Finance practice resident in the firm’s Charlotte office. He is active in King & Spalding's transportation finance practice.

Derek represents financial institutions, lenders and lessors in transportation finance transactions with an emphasis on business aircraft and rail equipment.

Prior to joining King & Spalding, Derek served as corporate counsel at a global equipment leasing firm.

Derek holds a J.D. from Villanova University School of Law where he graduated cum laude and served as the Managing Editor of Outside Works on the Villanova Sports and Entertainment Law Journal.

Represented lessor in various operating (net and full-service) master lease agreements, riders, amendments, assignments and other related documents.
