David Park is an associate in the International Arbitration practice based in the Singapore office.  He has advised and represented companies in commercial and investment arbitrations under the rules of the ICC, ICSID, SIAC and UNCITRAL.  

David specialises in construction and engineering disputes, with a particular focus on representing clients in disputes arising from major oil and gas; mining, and infrastructure projects in Asia, Australia and the Middle East.

Represented a major chemical company in an ICC arbitration against a Spanish construction company arising out of the engineering and construction of a chemical plant in Australia.

Represented an Australian contractor in a dispute against one of the world’s largest mining companies involving the construction of a water storage dam and related infrastructure at a coal mine in Queensland.

Represented a joint venture head contractor in relation to a twin-tunnel project, contracted under a public private partnership, against the design, geotechnical engineering and independent verifier companies engaged by the head contractor.
