Craig Smith is a Counsel on the Healthcare practice with King & Spalding’s Atlanta office.  He focuses his practice on the representation of private and non-profit clients in the healthcare and health and life sciences industries, including health systems, hospitals, medical groups, physician groups, accountable care organizations and clinically integrated networks, long term care facilities, continuing care retirement facilities, home health and hospice providers, medical device companies, physician staffing and management companies, clinical research organizations, universities, and research consortiums.

Craig has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, joint ventures, commercial contracts, intellectual property licensing and commercialization transactions, all types of financing including commercial lending, bond and venture capital transactions, restructurings, regulatory, and corporate governance matters.
