Blake Kocian is an associate in the Chicago office of King & Spalding and a member of the firm’s Corporate, Finance and Investments practice group. Blake's practice focuses on commercial finance deals, including corporate lending transactions, leveraged acquisitions, specialty financings and other debt investments.

Blake Kocian is an associate in the Leveraged Finance practice group in Chicago and focuses on private credit and special situations investing. Blake represents financial institutions, lenders, sponsors, and borrowers in domestic and cross-border debt financings; first and second lien financings; acquisition financings; and other secured and unsecured lending transactions. Blake has extensive experience working with private credit funds, financial institutions, private equity funds, hedge funds, and public and private companies.

Blake received his J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law and his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a Economics Concentration from Saint Louis University. Prior to joining King & Spalding, Blake worked at another Chicago-based law firm where his practice involved all aspects of corporate transactional work.
