Ayesha Chatterjee is a partner in King & Spalding's Leveraged Finance practice, with a focus on private credit and special situations investing. Ayesha represents both lenders and borrowers, including private credit funds, private equity sponsors, institutional investors and public and private issuers. She has experience representing clients in connection with leveraged buyouts, unitranche facilities, asset-based lending, first lien/second lien transactions, syndicated credit facilities, liability management transactions and restructurings.
Ayesha’s significant representations include Atlas Holdings, Blackstone Credit, Brookfield, H.I.G., KKR Credit, Lotus Infrastructure, Owl Rock, Paceline Equity Partners, and Sound Point Capital.
Ayesha earned her juris doctor at Columbia University, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, and earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from the University of Pennsylvania, where she graduated magna cum laude. Prior to law school, Ayesha was a financial analyst at a Wall Street bank.
