Ani Esenyan is an associate in the firm’s Environmental Health and Safety practice in Washington, D.C. Ani has experience with a range of environmental and energy law matters. She also has experience with litigation and regulatory investigations. Ani maintains an active pro bono practice.
During law school, Ani gained experience working for local and federal agencies. As a law clerk for the New York City Department of Environmental Protection she represented the agency in hearings and conferenced with respondents at the Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings Environmental Control Board, and worked on issues for the Regulatory Compliance Unit, Watershed Unit, and Enforcement Unit. As a law clerk for the Department of Justice Environment and Natural Resources Division, Ani worked on a variety of federal regulatory issues for EPA Regions 1 and 2.
