People

Angus McFadden is a construction lawyer who focuses on helping owners and developers get their projects built. As a partner in our Projects and Construction practice, Angus works with companies, particularly in the energy sector, on all design and construction aspects of their projects, from the drawing board to the punch list and beyond.

Angus represents owners and developers in a variety of industries on large-scale projects ranging in value from US$30 million to more than US$10 billion. Project types include petrochemical facilities; power plants; liquified natural gas liquefaction and export terminals; LNG import terminals; natural gas pipelines and storage facilities; water projects; ports; and sports stadiums.

Angus works with owners and developers across the life of a project, to determine the best project delivery system, write and negotiate all types of project agreements, and assist with resolving or avoiding construction-related disputes. He has extensive international experience, working with projects in the Middle East, Asia, Africa, Mexico, South America and the U.S.

A frequent author and speaker on construction-related topics, Angus received recognition in 2016 from Chambers USA for his work in construction law, and from Legal 500, which has ranked him Tier 1 for Real Estate and Construction, including Construction Litigation. He has been listed in Who’s Who Legal—Construction and included in The Best Lawyers in America for Construction Law since 2014.
