Andi Bosshart is a Senior Compliance Advisor with King & Spalding’s Healthcare practice. Andi has over 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry, including 23 years serving as the Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer for a national health system. She has extensive expertise in the development, implementation, and evaluation of compliance program design and effectiveness, as well as the integration of compliance into organizational governance. Andi also has significant HIPAA privacy experience, including evaluating the design and effectiveness of an organization’s privacy program. She has substantial experience drafting policies and procedures, developing training programs, leading compliance investigations, designing and conducting risk assessments, and creating auditing and monitoring plans. She has participated in over 100 mergers and acquisitions, directed Health Information Management departments leveraging her deep coding and billing experience, and created data and billing quality programs. Andi also frequently interfaces with state and federal healthcare regulators. Andi brings her compliance and privacy operational experience to bear when advising clients on how to develop and implement compliance controls to mitigate organizational risks.

Andi is a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) and is Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC). She is also a frequent speaker for various industry organizations including the Health Care Compliance Association, American Health Law Association, and multiple state Health Information Management associations.
