Albert Y. Kim is counsel in the Government Matters practice group in the Washington, D.C. office of King & Spalding. His practice focuses on antitrust, including merger control, counseling and compliance, and antitrust litigation. Albert has broad experience in complex commercial litigation and internal corporate investigations.
Albert joined King & Spalding in 2018 after spending seven years in South Asia, including one year in Singapore in Sidley Austin's anticorruption compliance and investigations group and six years in Sri Lanka overseeing legal work for legal and business process outsourcing companies. From 2004 to 2011, Albert was an attorney within the FTC's Mergers IV division and was the recipient of several team and individual awards. At the FTC, Albert's industries of focus included semiconductors, hospitals, retail products, cable television, supermarkets and pharmaceuticals. Prior to the FTC, Albert was an associate at Gibson Dunn & Crutcher's DC office.
