Data Subject Rights

Your rights

The data protection legislation provides individuals with whom we are dealing with the rights set out below. This includes relationships between us and individual clients (or individuals within client organizations) and others with whom we deal, including third-party organizations (or individuals within such organizations). All of those individuals are referred to as ‘you’ below:

Right to be informed

  • Our Privacy Policy tells you how we use your information.

Right of access

  • You are entitled to ask us for a copy of any personal data which we hold about you.

  • We will normally send you a copy of the information within one month of your request. However that period may be extended by two further months where necessary, taking into account the complexity and number of the requests. There is usually no charge; however, in exceptional circumstances we may charge, but we will discuss this with you if that applies.

Right to rectification

  • If the information we hold about you is inaccurate, you may request that we change it. The information will be checked, and, where appropriate, any inaccuracy rectified.

Right to erasure

  • In certain circumstances you may be entitled to ask us to erase your personal data.

Right to data portability

  • You are entitled to alert us if you wish to move, copy, or transfer the electronic personal data that we hold about you to another organization.

Right to object

  • You may object to your data being used for direct marketing.

  • You may object to the continued use of your data in any circumstances where we rely upon consent as the legal basis for processing it.

  • Where we rely upon legitimate interests as the legal basis for processing your personal data, you may object to us continuing to process your personal data, but you must give us specific reasons for objecting. We will consider the reasons you provide, but if we consider that there are compelling legitimate grounds for us to continue to process your data, we may continue to do so. In that event, we shall let you know the reasons for our decision.

Rights related to automated decision making including profiling

  • We will not use your data in connection with any automated decision making process or for any profiling purpose.
