Amy Boring, Vera Powell, Yelena Kotlarsky to Speak at Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics’ Regional Conference

Special Matters and Government Investigations partner Amy Boring, counsel Vera Powell, and senior associate Yelena Kotlarsky will be featured speakers at the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics’ Regional Conference in Atlanta on August 12. Vera will present on “Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM)” as part of the “Know Your Business Partners - A Holistic Approach to Managing Third-Party Risks” session. In that presentation, Vera will discuss the ownership of the TPRM process, best practices for devising and implementing a holistic TPRM model, and challenges and leading practices with respect to third-party monitoring. Amy and Yelena will present on “Interview Strategies for Compliance Investigations” and discuss the importance of interviews in compliance investigations, strategies for effective interviews, and key considerations that play a role (legal privilege, privacy and confidentiality, and others).
