LOS ANGELES, Oct. 6, 2020 — The Recorder has named King & Spalding partner Joe Akrotirianakis to its 2020 California Trailblazers list.
The publication recognized Akrotirianakis for his work as both plaintiff’s and defense counsel for clients, including his defense of an international technology company in a groundbreaking dispute with a major social media platform and for obtaining a first-of-its kind permanent injunction for a major pharmaceutical company against a compounding pharmacy.
The California Trailblazers list recognizes California-area lawyers who “have made significant marks on the practice, policy and technological advancement of their practice,” according to the publication.
Akrotirianakis, a partner in the Trial and Global Disputes practice group, is an accomplished trial lawyer who has first-chaired or co-chaired more than 30 trials and arbitrations. He has never lost a jury trial or bench trial. He represents both plaintiffs and defendants across a broad spectrum of industries.
