MiFID II – Simplification of cost transparency, product governance, taping, etc. are in sight
On 17 February 2020, the EU Commission published a consultation paper on the review of MiFID II and MiFIR. This seminar focuses on the Commission's questions and proposals regarding consumer protection under MiFID II:
Topics include possible simplifications in ex-ante cost transparency, product governance and taping, but also the possibility of a general inducement ban. There are also new considerations such as the introduction of semi-professional investors as a new investor category, a possible phase-out of paper-based information as well as the creation of an EU-wide database on investment products.
We are looking forward to discussing the perspectives of different stakeholders.

The seminar is free of charge for you.
