Sally Yates Receives Women’s White Collar Defense Association’s Champion Award

ATLANTA, Dec. 8, 2021 — King & Spalding Special Matters & Government Investigations partner Sally Yates has been named a recipient of the Women’s White Collar Defense Association’s (WWCDA) 2021 Champion Award. The award recognizes an individual “who has made a difference or achieved significant success in the White Collar area, while advancing justice in enforcement or positively impacting defense investigations or compliance,” according to the organization.

The WWCDA Awards recognizes women, men and groups who have championed women while making outstanding contributions in the White Collar area, including Defense, Government Enforcement, Investigations, and Compliance. The program also supports the legacy of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg by recognizing a law student who best exemplifies Justice Ginsburg commitments and tireless efforts.    

Yates’ leadership and wide-ranging background provide clients with seasoned judgment in difficult times. Her practice focuses on counseling clients in complex and sensitive matters, including government enforcement and regulatory matters, congressional investigations, compliance, corporate governance and crisis management.   

Drawing upon her nearly three decades at the Department of Justice, she specializes in internal and independent investigations for public and private organizations and boards.
