Remote Judicial Proceedings: Is this the New Normal?

In just two months, we have seen unprecedented changes in the way litigation is conducted. A process that had previously been driven by the ability to advocate for clients in settings that allowed lawyers to read the body language of the room and confront witnesses in person to test their veracity is now being conducted remotely, presenting new dynamics and challenges.

Our panelists will share best practices and lessons learned based on their firsthand experience conducting remote depositions and participating in hearings, ADR, mediation and other proceedings remotely. They also will provide insight into how the pandemic has affected juror attitudes and demographics as courts grapple with resuming jury trials.
