CHICAGO, June 20, 2019 — King & Spalding’s Chicago office has earned a spot on the Public Interest Law Initiative’s annual “Pro Bono Recognition Roster” in recognition of its strong dedication to pro bono work.
This is the second straight year since its founding in September 2017 that the office has been recognized by PILI for its lawyers’ high level of involvement in providing free legal services to those in need. The Chicago office’s recent pro bono work has focused on access to justice, criminal records relief and governmental integrity.
PILI’s mission is to cultivate a lifelong commitment to public interest law and pro bono service within the Illinois legal community to expand the availability of legal services for people, families and communities in need.
