Preservation and Collection of Mobile Device Content During a Crisis

Today, most custodial data can be preserved or collected remotely or in a centralized manner, but mobile device preservation and collection typically require physical access to devices. During unprecedented crises, what are companies supposed to do if they need to preserve or collect mobile devices while most forensic examiners and/or custodians are under stay-at-home orders? Join our team to discuss:

  • The different options available for mobile preservation and collection, including new alternatives not frequently used before the current crisis
  • The costs, proportionality and defensibility of the different options
  • How other companies have been handling this challenge
