Pharmaceutical Waste: Compliance Lessons Learned From Recent EPA Enforcement Actions Against Hospitals

On Thursday, April 23, 2015, we will be hosting an Atlanta-based Roundtable focused on trends and developments in recent enforcement actions against hospitals and retail pharmacies by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and state agencies for pharmaceutical waste management issues. In this Roundtable, King & Spalding lawyers will also discuss ways to implement waste management programs that comply with the complicated hazardous waste management requirements of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA).

We are also offering a Webinar option for the Roundtable.

King & Spalding Presenters:

  • Adam G. Sowatzka

  • Kelsey A. Desloover

The Roundtable will include the following topics:

  • Reviewing the latest trends, developments, and challenges presented by increased environmental enforcement actions against hospitals and retail pharmacies

  • Structuring a pharmaceutical waste management program to avoid compliance issues

  • Practical tips for recordkeeping and employee training programs to support compliant hazardous waste management efforts

You do not have to be a client to attend, and there is no charge.
