NEW YORK, April 20, 2018 — The National LGBT Bar Association has named King & Spalding counsel Todd Amdor to its Best LGBT Lawyers Under 40 list for 2018.
Each year, the National LGBT Bar Association, an affiliate of the American Bar Association, recognizes LGBT professionals under the age of 40 who “have distinguished themselves in their field and have demonstrated a profound commitment to LGBT equality.” The winners will be honored at an awards luncheon at the Lavender Law Conference and Career Fair in early August.
Amdor, who practices from King & Spalding’s Silicon Valley and Houston offices, advises domestic and international business clients on corporate governance issues, mergers, acquisitions, asset sales, start-up financings, and complex commercial transactions under Texas, California and English law. He also acts as U.S. general counsel to a variety of startups and European companies conducting business in the United States, and has advised dozens of European companies in connection with the expansion of their businesses into the United States. In addition, Amdor advises a variety of non-profit corporations on issues ranging from formation and governance to compliance and strategic initiatives.
