National Law Journal Names Marcella Burke a 2021 Energy & Environment Trailblazer


HOUSTON, July 2, 2021 — The National Law Journal has named King & Spalding partner Marcella Burke to its 2021 Energy & Environment Trailblazers list.

Burke leads the Houston office’s Environmental Health and Safety practice. She specializes in energy and environmental issues and represents companies in a range of regulatory and enforcement matters. She also leads the firm’s Energy Transition initiative and is a board member of the Houston ESG Council.

The NLJ’s Trailblazers list recognizes lawyers, chosen from hundreds of nominations, who “have shown a deep passion and perseverance in pursuit of their mission, having achieved remarkable successes along the way,” according to the publication.
