Los Angeles Business Journal Names Jeanne Fugate, Brian Michael to its Thriving in Their 40s List

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 21, 2020 — The Los Angeles Business Journal has named King & Spalding partners Jeanne Fugate and Brian Michael to its 2020 Thriving in Their 40s list. The list includes notable standouts in professional services “who serve as terrific examples of trusted advisors whose services the businesses of Los Angeles simply cannot do without,” according to the publication.

Fugate is a partner in the firm’s Trial & Global Disputes practice, focusing on employment litigation, complex civil litigation, and securities litigation. In its profile of her, the Los Angeles Business Journal noted her successes for both plaintiffs and defendants in TROs, ex partes, and trial work, as well as her active involvement in several organizations that serve Los Angeles and the state of California, including her service as a commissioner on the Los Angeles City Board of Civil Service Commissioners.

Michael is a partner in the firm’s Government Matters practice. A trial lawyer and former federal prosecutor, he represents companies, officers, directors, and executives in white-collar criminal cases, securities and regulatory enforcement matters, and related complex litigation.
