WASHINGTON, Aug. 19, 2019 — King & Spalding partner Lewis Jones has been elected to the 2019 fellowship class of the American College of Environmental Lawyers.
The College is a professional, educational and honorary association of lawyers from the United States and Canada who are widely recognized for their achievements in the field of environmental law and policy. Jones joins King & Spalding partners Patricia Barmeyer, Peter Hsiao and Grant Nakayama, who are also Fellows of the organization.
Jones is a partner in the firm’s Environmental, Health and Safety practice group and specializes in water, natural resources and infrastructure development. He advises water utilities on supply and wastewater issues, environmental compliance, permitting, and fee-setting; helps clients obtain and defend permits to build infrastructure; and assists with a wide range of issues relating to the civil works and regulatory programs of the United States Army Corps of Engineers.
