NEW YORK, March. 13, 2020 — Tokyo-based King & Spalding partner Mark Davies and associate Sawyer Duncan have been named recipients of the 2020 Law360 Distinguished Legal Writing Award, formerly known as the Burton Award, which recognizes outstanding legal writing within the past year.
The award was for a three-part article series entitled, “Considerations in Cross-Border Carve-Out Deals,” which was published by Deal Lawyers from May through June in 2019.
The firm was among 30 winners that were chosen from nominations submitted by the nation’s 1,000 largest law firms. The honorees will be recognized at the “Law360 Distinguished Legal Writing Awards” ceremony on June 8, 2020.
