King & Spalding Again Named Among Best Places to Work for LGBTQ Equality

WASHINGTON, Jan. 21, 2020 — King & Spalding has once again earned a top score of 100 percent in the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2020 Corporate Equality Index (CEI) and the designation of “Best Places to Work for LGBTQ Equality.” This is the eighth consecutive year the firm has achieved a perfect score in the index.

The CEI is a national benchmarking tool on corporate policies and practices supporting lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender and queer (LGBTQ) workplace equality. “These companies know that protecting their LGBTQ employees and customers from discrimination is not just the right thing to do -- it is also the best business decision,” said Human Rights Campaign President Alphonso David in this year’s report.

King & Spalding fosters and maintains an environment where every employee is free to be their authentic selves. The firm also encourages discussions and collaborations on efforts to promote LGBTQ equality including ongoing support for various LGBTQ-related community organizations.
