WASHINGTON, March 28, 2019 — King & Spalding has earned a top score of 100 percent in the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2019 Corporate Equality Index (CEI) and the designation of “Best Places to Work for LGBTQ Equality.” This is the seventh consecutive year the firm has achieved a perfect score in the index.
The CEI is a national benchmarking tool on corporate policies and practices supporting lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender and queer (LGBTQ) workplace equality. “The top-scoring companies on this year’s CEI are not only establishing policies that affirm and include employees here in the United States, they are applying these policies to their global operations and impacting millions of people beyond our shores,” said Human Rights Campaign President Chad Griffin in this year’s report.
King & Spalding fosters and maintains an environment where every employee is free to be their authentic selves. The firm also encourages discussions and collaborations on efforts to promote LGBTQ equality including ongoing support for various LGBTQ-related community organizations.
