FRANKFURT, June 29, 2017 — King & Spalding is representing Orion Capital Managers on the sale of a portfolio of three office properties in Germany to PATRIZIA Immobilien.
The office properties, based in Hamburg, Frankfurt and Dortmund, have a combined total of 60,625 square meters and include tenants such as Commerzbank, McKinsey, Deutsche Telekom and Gruner + Jahr. The portfolio comprises the 26,200-square-meter Hafen City Gate office building in Hamburg, the 28,790-square-meter Westfalentower in Dortmund and an 5,600-square-meter office building at the Carl-von-Noorden-Platz in Frankfurt.
King & Spalding acted for the seller of the portfolio, a subsidiary of Orion European Real Estate Fund IV, C.V., which is sponsored by Orion Capital Managers. The Frankfurt-based team included senior counsel Michael Prinz zu Löwenstein and associate Michael Debesay.
King & Spalding has acted on a number of European real estate matters for Orion and its affiliates in recent years. Other recent instructions include the sale of the Domus shopping centre in Rosny-sous-Bois, France, and the disposal of the Thor portfolio and Hamburg Two Towers in Germany.
