TOKYO, Oct. 5, 2020 — LatinFinance magazine has honored King & Spalding for its work representing clients in a transaction that garnered the Bond of the Year award at its 2020 Project & Infrastructure Finance Awards.
King & Spalding helped advise the issuers, guarantor and sponsors on a US$1.1 billion bond issue to refinance existing project finance debt for a floating production storage and offloading facility, the FPSO Cidade de Mangaratiba MV24 in Brazil. The King & Spalding team on the deal was led by Tokyo partners John McClenahan and Mark Davies.
