HOUSTON, July 6, 2017 — King & Spalding advised Jordan Cove LNG LLC in the development of a contract for the engineering, procurement and construction of a liquefied natural gas (LNG) liquefaction export terminal in Coos Bay, Ore.
The five-train LNG liquefaction terminal is expected to produce a maximum of 7.8 million tons of LNG per year for export. It represents the first and most advanced LNG export terminal project on the West Coast of North America and would be the largest single, private investment in the history of southern Oregon.
The King & Spalding team was led by Houston-based global transactions partner Scott Greer and associate Jonathan Katz.
