King & Spalding is representing German LNG Terminal GmbH (GLNG) on the development of the onshore LNG import terminal in Brunsbüttel, Germany, which last week achieved key milestones.
On 11 October, GLNG executed the Engineering Procurement and Construction contract with CS Gas North S.A. – a joint venture between COBRA Instalaciones y Servicios S.A. and SENER Ingeniería y sistemas S.A. and also agreements with ConocoPhillips, INEOS and RWE Supply & Trading (as foundation customers) for long-term regasification capacity in the terminal. GLNG is owned by Kreditanstalt fur Wiederaufbau (KfW), on behalf of the German Federal Government, Gasunie, wholly owned by the State of the Netherlands, and RWE.
King & Spalding is acting for GLNG on all aspects of the terminal services agreements in relation to the project.
