LONDON, April 1, 2019 — King & Spalding advised on three winning transactions at IJGlobal’s annual awards recognizing achievements in 2018.
King & Spalding represented clients on three different projects that won in the following categories:
MENA M&A Deal of the Year
- BHGE acquisition of a stake in ADNOC Drilling – King & Spalding advised Baker Hughes, a GE company on its agreement to acquire 5% of the shares in ADNOC Drilling for an initial consideration of US$550 million. The transaction values ADNOC Drilling at approximately US$11 billion.
Latin American transaction:
- Upstream Oil & Gas – Sepia MV30 FPSO – King & Spalding advised MODEC, Inc on its contract for the supply, charter and operations of a Floating Production Storage and Offloading vessel with Petróleo Brasileiro S.A. (Petrobras) in the Sépia field.
North American transaction:
- Oil & Gas – Corpus Christi LNG Train 3 – King & Spalding advised sponsor Cheniere Energy Inc on the EPC contracts and LNG marketing for the Corpus Christi LNG project.
The IJGlobal Awards announcements were made at awards dinners held in Dubai, New York, London and Singapore.
