This webinar is intended to aid in-house counsel in ensuring that outside counsel is fully prepared to present cases and arguments in health care matters in the most persuasive way possible. The concepts were developed over 30 years of work with inside and outside counsel on a wide variety of health care litigation matters. It goes without saying that these matters are often complex, and the concepts are not readily understood by judge, juries, and arbitrators. The approach is based on answering the following questions:
- Why do we win?
- What are the five hard questions a jury, judge, or arbitrator will have to resolve?
- What is our knock-out punch?
These questions form the basic outline of the approach, but the webinar will reveal secrets of how they can be applied to improve counsel's presentation, and the chances of a good outcome. Note: this webinar will be helpful to anyone supervising any attorney on any matter—including transactions, important negotiations, mediations, etc.—and even matters that are not related to health care.
