NEW YORK, April 27, 2022 — The India Business Law Journal has named King & Spalding Corporate, Finance and Investments partners Andrew Brereton, Parveet Singh Gandoak and Rahul Patel to its International A-List 2022. The list recognizes the top 100 India-focused legal experts who are based outside of India at international law firms.
Brereton, who practices in the firm’s Singapore office, has been based in Asia for over 20 years and specializes in banking work, including acquisition finance, structured lending, fund financing, trade finance, project finance and reserve-based lending. He also has extensive experience of restructurings and workouts and is recognized by several legal directories as one of the leading lawyers in the region.
Gandoak is a member of the firm’s Singapore office and regularly represents multinational corporations, sovereign wealth funds, private equity sponsors and venture capital firms in a range of corporate transactions, including cross-border mergers and acquisitions, minority and control investments, joint ventures, secondary transactions, exits, restructurings and capital markets offerings. He also advises clients on investments in Asia, as well as outbound transactions into the United States and Europe.
Patel, who practices from the firm’s Atlanta office, focuses on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic corporate transactions. As co-chair of the firm’s Global Private Equity/M&A practice, he represents leading companies and private equity funds, with a portion of his corporate work focusing on cross-border transactions. He is rated as a leading mergers and acquisitions lawyer by top legal directories.
