Goldman Sachs Specialty Lending Group Provide DIP Financing and Serves as Stalking Horse Bidder in Connection with Successful Auction of Gymboree Assets

Represents Goldman Sachs Specialty Lending Group, as prepetition term loan lender and post-petition DIP Lender, in connection with the chapter 11 cases of Gymboree Group, Inc., a national children’s clothing retailer operating over 800 stores under the Gymboree, Crazy 8 and Janie & Jack banners.  In connection with a successful 363 auction (for which Goldman served as the stalking horse), The Children’s Place acquired the intellectual property of Gymboree and Crazy 8, and The Gap made a winning bid for the assets of Janie & Jack as a going concern.
