The Law Office of Mohammed AlAmmar, in cooperation with King & Spalding LLP, is holding a workshop on the practical consequences of the developments relating to taking security and providing an update on the insolvency laws in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
There have been significant developments in 2018 relating to taking security and the insolvency regime in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including the promulgation of the new commercial pledge law and insolvency law. These developments materially change the landscape for the way lenders take security and the procedures for dealing with an insolvent borrower.
This workshop will provide attendees with an overview of the new laws and developments and what they mean for the rights of lenders (both secured and nonsecured) and borrowers. We will also cover innovative structures for security being utilized by credit funds and others providing financing in the Kingdom.
Tuesday, 23 October 2018
8:30 A.M. – 11:30 A.M.
