Daily Report Names Harold Franklin, Spencer Johnson and Adam Sowatzka 2020 Georgia Trailblazers


ATLANTA, Sept. 29, 2020 — The Daily Report has named King & Spalding partners Harold Franklin, Spencer Johnson and Adam Sowatzka to its 2020 Georgia Trailblazers list.

The  list recognizes Georgia-area lawyers who “have made significant marks on the practice, policy and technological advancement of their practice,” according to the publication.

The publication recognized Franklin, who is a partner in the firm’s Product Liability practice and Diversity Committee chair, for his efforts in launching the Justice Robert Benham Law Camp, a summer program designed to expose minority high school students in the Atlanta area to the field of law.

Johnson, a partner in the Capital Markets practice, was lauded for using data analytics tools to help guide the firm’s interactions with clients, including using historical billing data to help clients isolate costs and manage their legal budgets.

Sowatzka, a partner in the Environmental practice, was recognized for leading the King & Spalding Incident Response Initiative, which helps clients deal with large-scale industrial accidents and other catastrophes.
