WASHINGTON, Apr. 9, 2021 — Cybersecurity Docket has once again named King & Spalding partners Robert Hudock and Phyllis Sumner to its Incident Response 30 list of “the 30 best and brightest data breach response lawyers” in the United States.
Cybersecurity Docket is a publication focused on cybersecurity, data breach and incident response. It chose the winners based on nominations, research, and input from numerous senior lawyers in the field.

He assesses clients’ security controls and practices for the protection of data, developing and implementing information security programs, and complying with federal and state regulatory requirements. Hudock was previously selected to the Incident Response 30 list in 2020.
Sumner is King & Spalding’s Chief Privacy Officer and leads its Data Privacy & Security practice. She regularly counsels corporate boards, senior executives and other clients regarding data breach prevention, emergency response, remediation, compliance, regulatory enforcement, internal corporate investigations and other critical privacy and data security concerns.
